Monday morning recap for Sunday – August 8, 2010

Greetings people on the interwebses . . .

Great morning AND evening of worship yesterday at the Oak. Bob Flayhart returns to the pulpit this weekend – you’ll not want to miss it. LIFE groups also resume this weekend.

We opened yesterday with All Who Are Thirsty – which is just a great tune – great opening prayer.

After our call to worship we sang Arise, The Solid Rock, Before the Throne of God Above (with the Shane and Shane chorus) and Enough.

Our offering song was a new arrangement of May Jesus Christ Be Praised (when morning gilds the skies).

we also had a night of worship as we installed our new Missions Pastor – Tom Patton, and our school’s new headmaster – Robbie Hinton.

We opened that service with Come Ye Sinners. The rest of the set included Amazing God, O Worship the King, Immortal Invisible, Let God Arise, Our God Saves, Center, Surrender, and What a Savior.
