Yesterday marked the 1st Sunday of Advent. In the liturgical calendar – it’s the Prophet Candle – “the anticipation of christ.” The songs was sang yesterday all pointed us to the expectation of Christ’s coming/Christ’s return.
We opened with Let God Arise.
After our call to worship we sang Hosanna, Your Grace is Enough, Our God Saves, Come Thou Long Expected Jesus, and Never Let Go.
Our offering song was a killer tune called Light of the World.
