We wrapped up our Global missions conference this weekend – with messages from Gary Purdy of North Shore Fellowship. Had some GREAT times of worship – including, of course, yesterday morning’s normal Sunday worship.
Our choir lead worship yesterday. We opened with Forever Reign – which is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs.
After our call to worship we sang Jesus Shall Reign, Amazing God, O 4 a 1000 Tongues, A Mighty Fortress (Nockels), Your Name, and Agnus Dei.
Our offering song was a Sovereign Grace tune called Let Your Kingdom Come.
I LOVE that we did “Your Name” for the Missions Conference. The first time I heard the song was in a little church in Belarus in 2009. Most of the service was in Russian, but they asked someone from our group to sing. I consider it one of the most special services that I have been a part of. The time of worship together despite language barriers and cultural differences was amazing. Thanks for the reminder!
