Monday Morning Recap(s) for Christmas Eve AND December 29, 2013

We were back to “normal” programming yesterday – as I don’t tend to sing Christmas songs after Christmas.  But before we talk about yesterday – we had Christmas Eve service!

We opened Christmas Eve with Our God Saves – great tune and idea for talking about God’s gift of salvation for mankind.
After the call to worship we sang Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Here I Am to Worship, and Away in a Manger.
Carlee then sang Welcome to our World.

That was followed with a reading of the Christmas story from the gospels of Matthew and Luke, by Rob Bright.
Lynne Means then sang O Holy Night.
We closed after a homily from Bob with Silent Night.

For worship yesterday, we opened with Awake My Soul.
After our call to worship we sang You Lifted Me Out, The Same Love, You Never Let Go, and How Deep the Father’s Love For Us

Our offering song was a new tune from Matt Redman called Holy.
