Had a great morning of worship with the choir yesterday – i’ve always loved choir Sundays. It’s a great opportunity for so many people to come together to worship and lead worship together.
We also had a special guest preacher – Alton Hardy, planting a church in here in Fairfield – just west of Birmingham. Be sure to grab his sermon from iTunes, or watch the recorded video on ustream.
We opened yesterday with God is Coming – one of my favorite tunes from Tim Hughes.
After our call to worship we sang God of Grace and Glory, Waiting Here for You, Hear Us From Heaven, and 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord). Love that tune.
Our offering song was Holy by Matt Redman – another new favorite.
