Facebook has reverted back to their previous terms of use while they resolve the issues that people have raised.

[Terms of Use Update
Over the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised. For more information, visit the Facebook Blog.

Even though they have reverted, and a strong argument could be raised that they can’t switch the terms of use without consent and agreement from existing users, it’s still a good idea to not put anything on the internet that you wouldn’t be comfortable with for public consumption.
