We had a great Sunday at Oak Mountain. The thought that I’ve had preceding yesterday was this: What if we had the same fervor and zeal about Christ’s resurrection the other 51 Sundays of the year! Facebook and Twitter were inundated with “Christ is risen!” messages, which are great – and He is – but He has been for close to 2000 years – our message shouldn’t dramatically increase with Easter Sunday – it should be that exciting, that life-changing every Sunday, or thursday afternoon, or Tuesday at 9:15PM . . .
And scene.
Yesterday we opened with Let God Arise – by Chris Tomlin.
After our call to worship, we sang Arise by Paul Baloche, Christ the Lord is Risen Today, Mighty to Save, Your Name, and Prince of Peace.
Our offering song was Revelation Song.
Jason, I think you and I are the only worship leaders who didn't sing “In Christ Alone” yesterday. I was beginning to think I was the only one!
Zach –
Always have to be careful to not overdo that song!
