Monday morning recap for Sunday – June 14

We celebrated the Lord’s Supper yesterday, and had a power outage – always fun. Welcomed a couple of new team members to the group yesterday – new acoustic guitarist and 2 new praise teams members. If you’re reading this and attend Oak Mountain, and would like to get involved, it really is as easy as getting in touch with me.

We opened yesterday with Awake My Soul, which is a setting to some Isaac Watts text that I did a few years ago.

After our call to worship, we sang Forever, Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone), and Your Name.

For our offering song, we sang a killer tune called God of Justice, off of the Tim Hughes album “Holding Nothing Back.”

During communion we sang Before the Throne of God Above, and a new song called Selah – written by Scott Ivey.

Great recording of the tune on iTunes . Enjoy!
