We had a great time of worship yesterday morning. The choir sang – and I really enjoy choir Sundays. The more people that we can get involved in leading God’s people in worship, the better –
We opened with a new song called What a Savior.
After our call to worship we sang Amazing God, Everlasting God, Amazing Grace (Chains are Gone), and Your Name (Baloche).
Our offering followed immediately with Revelation Song – with the choir and Lauren Roberts. We also heard the now 3-year-old recording of Drake reading about heaven. You can hear it on the side-bar of this blog called “Revelation Song Intro”
We showed 4 videos yesterday – including a missions conference promo and a clip from Shindler’s List. We also showed a clip from CNN about a husband waiting on his wife to be rescued in Haiti. Great stuff.
Next week starts our missions conference, and Sandy Wilson from Memphis will be with us. Make plans to join us Sunday morning, night, and Monday and Tuesday nights.
Um…what's that big word near the end of that introduction that was done going into the “Revelation” song? I am not even going to attempt a spelling because I can't even wrap my head around it much less say it much less type it so I don't know what it means? I am still trying to learn. But after yesterday, I did have an upward and forward movement in my relationship with God. Yeah!
