Monday Morning Recap for Sunday February 21, 2010

Greetings interwebers . . .

Choir sang yesterday. I love choir sundays – but i’ve said that before. I enjoy the opportunity to get as many people involved in leading in worship as possible – which is why i insist on our praise team singer being regularly involved in choir.

We opened yesterday with a *new to oak mountain* song No Not One (Nockels).

After our call to worship, we sang Beautiful One, Blessed Be Your Name (to the groove of Here to Love You by the Doobie Brothers), Before the Throne of God Above, Agnus Dei, and Holy Holy Holy.

Our offering song was a song that we’re working on for our Palm Sunday Spectacular Spectacular on March 28. The song was Glorious by Paul Baloche.

Let me put a plug in for Paul’s new album “Glorious.” There’s already 3 songs on there that we’ll be doing at Oak Mountain – congregationally. Get the record. Listen to it. GREAT tunes.
