Communion service yesterday. Bob finishing the Gospel-Insertion point of the Gospel Pipeline series. Next week is Home Missions Sunday.
We opened yesterday with a new song called I Will Sing. Straight out of the psalms – a great reminder of the exhortations in Scripture related to our posture in worship.
After our call to worship we sang Sing to the King – with one of my favorite verses ever – “For His returning, we watch and we pray. We will be ready the dawn of that day. We’ll join in singing with all the redeemed. Satan is vanquished and Jesus is King.” – We even had some cheering, in a presbyterian church. No one tell the Presbytery, please 🙂
we also sang Mighty to Save, Blessed Be Your Name, and It Is Well. Our offering song was How He Loves.
For Communion we sang Blessings. We also did a new tune called Bring Us to the Table.
Join us this coming Sunday as we celebrate and hear from our domestic missionaries.
