Great to be back at OMPC yesterday! We’re kicking off our Christmas season with our Wednesday night choir rehearsal this Wednesday from 6-7 downstairs in the choir room. Come join us!
We opened yesterday with Relentless. That’s one of those songs that critics like to call “7-11” songs (repeat the same 7 words, 11 times). I love, though, that the chorus is simply “Your love is relentless, your love is relentless, your love is relentless, your love is relentless….” I need to be reminded that God’s love, pursuit, and heart for me is relentless, no matter how I try to hide, or how fast I try to run. And if singing those same words in repetition helps me remember, and helps my congregation remember – then let’s do it!
After our call to worship we sang Joyful, Stronger, We Will Run, and How He Loves.
Our offering song was Jesus I Come.
