Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – November 30, 2014

We kicked off the 2014 Advent season last Sunday with the Prophet’s Candle – the Anticipation of Christ.  One of my favorite things to do is take praise songs that we sing during the year, and put them into the context of Advent, and specific “candle themes” for each week.  The same text that we sing during the year takes on a whole additional meaning!

We opened with Relentless.

After our call to worship we sang Your Grace is Enough, Come Thou Long Expected Jesus, O Come Emmanuel, and How He Loves.

Our offering song was a great tune called Light of the World, sung by Carlee Green.

On a very sad note, please be in prayer for the Meadows family.  David was one of the longest serving tech volunteers here at OMPC, and died suddenly on Saturday night.  He will be greatly missed by all of us in the worship ministry at oak mountain.
