Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – November 5, 2017

We had a wonderful crisp fall day yesterday here in Alabama – high humidity and temps in the 80’s.  Nothing says fall like running in shorts and a t-shirt.  We’re also drawing near to the close of our year-long sermon series on the #BlueBook – written by Jim Branch.  Yesterday’s theme was “broken” and so our worship set was designed to remind us that in our brokenness it is God’s faithfulness that we cling to.

We opened with Glorious Day – a relatively new song from Passion in Atlanta.

After our call to worship we sang Forever (and may or may not have channeled Christopher Cross), O Worship the King, We Will Run, and O Come to the Altar

Our offering song was Come as You Are, from Crowder.

We didn’t sing the #bluebook song of the week – but if you’re interested, it is Come Ye Sinners.

As always – not too late to join us in choir for our December Christmas worship service!  We meet every Wednesday night from 6-7 in the choir room.
