This has nothing to do with worship, or OMPC, but I’m gonna miss the Crocodile Hunter. I will say this though – at least he died doing what he loved to do.
I’ll also say this – he was an incredibly passionate man. He was passionate about animals, wildlife, and communicating to people the love he had for these creatures. They don’t do anything to deserve it, in fact, often times the closer he got, the madder they got, or the more defensive they became – maybe out of insecurity, or fear, or lack of faith that his only goal was to love them, and take care of them more than they could imagine.
Ok, sorry. I didn’t intend for this to be about worship – but why isn’t our spiritual life like that? Why don’t we realize that we are the creatures that God loves more than we can imagine – holds us close – and wants us to feel his peace. Why do we resort to insecurity, defensiveness . . . . Thank you God that you are passionate about us!
