I truly love the Easter morning celebration. I’ve been waking up earlier and earlier in the mornings – for reasons unknown, but this morning I was able to sit with my boys and read the resurrection accounts from scripture . . .
Anyway – we had two packed houses for worship this morning.
We opened our service with Let God Arise.
After our call to worship – in which Bob led us through the historical Easter responsive reading, we sang I Am Free, Arise, Indescribable, Rejoice the Lord is King, Everlasting God, and Mighty to Save.
Our offering song was a fantastic tune by Aaron Keyes called Not Guilty Anymore. You can check it out here.
Also – you can check back here this week – i’ll post our recording of it soon.
During Bob’s sermon – we tried something new, and used a song to illustrate one of his sermon points. We sang Questions, by Steven Curtis Chapman – written after the tragedy of his daughter dying . . .
Great service – looking forward to what God’s doing at Oak Mountain.
