Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – April 24, 2011

Great time of worship yesterday for Easter Sunday. Been out of town recently, and it's always good to get back to my home church.We opened yesterday with What a Savior.After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, Our God Saves, Christ the Lord is Risen Today, Mighty to Save, and Revelation Song.Our offering song was a tune by Matt Maher (Your grace is enough), called Christ is Risen. Not your traditional Monday Morning recap - as yesterday was our Palm Sunday worship service. We opened with Viva la Vida. I'll post the video soon that explained why we opened with that song - and my take on the lyrics. We did new songs from Tim Hughes, HIllsong United, Tommy Walker, Andy Gullahorn, Bethany Dillon, Handel (yes really) and Jared Anderson, and a couple custom hymn arrangements that I've done.
