Yesterday was our first choir Sunday of 2020! Choir Sundays are always my favorites - such an incredible group of worshippers. If you'd like to join us, there's never been a better time. We meet every Wednesday night in the choir room from 6-7. We provided drinks, snacks and childcare. We had a busy week at OMPC as all of our normal weekly activities kicked back off - including worship choir which meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7 in the choir room. We're starting right away with our Palm Sunday music, and there's never been a better time to join us! We have free childcare, drinks and snacks and there's NO requirement to be able to read music. Happy New Year! We kicked off 2020 with a great crowd, a new sermon series from Bob, and week 1 of our very own devotional, written by OMPC members and ministers. Our 4th Sunday of Advent was the Angels' Sunday - the Annunciation of Christ. We only have one more service in the 2019 Advent Season - tomorrow's (Tuesday) Christmas Eve Services at 5 and 6:30. Yesterday was one of our "not the typical OMPC musical style" sundays with a couple acoustics, piano, bass and percussion. It's also the 2nd Sunday of Advent and at Oak Mountain we continue to sing some of our favorite praise songs along with Christmas carols, but in light of Advent - the text of those praise songs take on a whole new meaning.
