Yesterday was a choir Sunday for OMPC, we hosted the Spain Park Baseball team AND prayed for and said goodbye to Tom Franklin and the Homewood Church plant as they leave to plant a church in Homewood. We opened yesterday with Your Love Defends Me After the call to worship we sang Amazing God, Good Good Father, Praise to the Lord the Almighty and Lord I Need You Our offering song was Holy Spirit - sung by Carlee Green. It was great to be back at OMPC yesterday.  Thankful for our church and the privilege of worshipping with them. We opened yesterday with Glorious Day After the call to worship we sang Lion and the Lamb, Crown Him With Many Crowns, We Will Feast and Great Are You Lord Our offering song was a new tune for OMPC called Build My Life Join us in choir!  We've resumed weekly rehearsals and are preparing for our April 14th Palm Sunday worship service.  No singing experience necessary!  Drinks, snacks and childcare are provided.

Yesterday was our 16th Annual OMPC Christmas service.  This year's service was entitled "Say Something." I'm not posting my typical recap - but check back later this week for videos from yesterday.  The service included tunes from Matt Redman, Lauren Daigle, Kathryn Scott, Matt Maher, Christy Nockels and Michael W Smith.  It included 98 choir members, an 8 piece band, orchestral sequences, and original video produced by Wes Smith and Michael Southerland. Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – December 2, 2018

Yesterday was the 1st Sunday of Advent, and one of our "not-so-normal" worship sets at OMPC.  Every once in a while I like to have fiddle, acoustic, hollow-body bass and perc (along with piano) to change up our style.  We still stick to our normal programming but the instrumental context is a tad more relaxed.  Lots of fun to play with those fine musicians!
