Yesterday was our US Missions Sunday - celebrating all the US missionaries and ministries that we help support through funding and involvement at OMPC.  Paul Hahn was our guest speaker - if you missed it, be sure and check out the podcast on iTunes. Sunday was Tropical Storm Nate Day, and so some area churches had altered morning schedules.  We had both of our services, although many folks decided to stay home and watch online. We opened Sunday with Glorious Day. After our call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, Never Let Go, Abide With Me, and What a Beautiful Name. Our offering song was It is Well - from Bethel Church. The official #BlueBook song this week is It Is Well - the traditional hymn tune.  

Can you believe it's already October?  I hope your collegiate sports club of choice is having success in their respective weekly contests. I was out of town yesterday but the very talented Jenny Pruitt led worship for me - such a blessing to serve with talented individuals! I always love choir Sundays - such a great way for so many people to be involved in leading God's people in worship.  If you're wanting to get involved, now is a great time to join us as we continue to prepare for our Christmas worship service on December 10. Yesterday's #bluebook theme and topic was "Ordinary" and Bob taught on the importance of realizing that God is pursuing us even in the midst of the ordinary and mundane.  Our worship set reminded us of the truth that Jesus is always with us, around us, pursuing us. We opened yesterday with All Because of Jesus. After the call to worship we sang Forever Reign, Jesus What a Friend for Sinners, Everything, and Great Are You Lord Our offering song was Your Grace Finds Me - by Matt Redman. I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Labor Day Weekend.  We had a great morning of worship at OMPC, continuing in our #bluebook series with "The Dance." We opened Sunday with Unstoppable God. After our call to worship we sang You Lifted Me Out, How He Loves, All Creatures of Our God and King, and What a Beautiful Name. Our offering song was Adoration.
