We're already through the month of June!  It honestly amazes me how fast Sunday can go by at this point.  Before you know it - we'll be to our 13th Annual Bullfrog Choir!  Men, join us on Sunday morning July 24th at our 10:45 service, and bring your boys!  There's no singing experience necessary.  You simply sing (or croak) the same thing you sing in the pew each morning.  We'll have a brief run-through at 9:45.This Sunday we opened with a new tune (to OMPC) called All My FountainsAfter our call to worship we sang Soul on Fire, Rejoice the Lord is…

Yesterday's worship set was all about resting in God's provision, providence, and love for us, as we prepared for Bob's sermon on "worry."We opened with a new version of It Is Well from Matt Redman.After our call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, Search Me, Be Still My Soul, and O Love That Will Not Let Me Go.Our offering song was Oceans.

We had an acoustic set this morning for worship - piano, bass, acoustic, fiddle and perc - changing it up a bit from our normal full band setup.We opened with Come Ye Sinners.After our call to worship we sang Relentless, The Solid Rock, Lord I Need You, and To Him.Our offering song was Lauren Daigle's How Can it Be - sung by Carlee Green.

VBS kicked off today at OMPC, so my normal morning recap is coming a bit late today.  Always great being back at Oak Mountain after a Sunday off.  A huge thanks to Trace for filling in so well last Sunday!We opened yesterday with Even So Come.After our call to worship we sang Hosanna, How He Loves, Immortal Invisible God Only Wise, and Never Once.Our offering song was Come As You Are.

We had a great choir Sunday yesterday.  It's a tough time of year to have a choir, especially with our "come and go" choir, due to all the year-end activities going on (graduations, school year wrapping up, sports, etc) but nonetheless, we had a great turnout and a great morning!We opened with Do It Lord - an awesome tune from Tommy Walker.After our call to worship we sang Come Christians Join to Sing, Heaven and Earth, The Same Love, and Waiting Here For You.Our offering song was Soul on Fire - from Third Day.

Our OMPC Kid led in worship yesterday with quite the energetic set!  I love that the kids can lead us in such a way that shows us the freedom that we can have in worship.We opened yesterday with Spin - from Lincoln Brewster, and quite possible the fastest song I've ever played.After our call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, By Faith, One Thing Remains, and Let the Children Come.Our offering song was a tune my wife wrote a few years ago called One Mother's Prayer.

When you think of your standing with God the Father, what thoughts come to mind?  Does the enemy take over and try to convince you, once again that your sin has jeopardized your standing?  Has robbed you from the perfect righteousness that has been made yours through Christ?  Has removed the perfect love that the Father has for you, through the gift of His son?That's why i'm really digging Good Good Father, and I think it's resonating well with OMPC too.  "You're a good good father, it's who you are.... and i'm loved by you.... it's who I am..."A simple chorus…
