Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – April 13, 2014

No regular recap for this Monday morning. Yesterday was our Palm Sunday worship service Come Back Soon.We had been working towards this date, and Sunday morning, since mid-January. It involved our worship choir of about 90 voices, band, tech teams, and video. It lasts the entire hour of worship - and this year, was all about Heaven.Included in the hour was Andrew Peterson's Come Back Soon. Great track. Lent is drawing to a close, and with next Sunday's Palm Sunday worship service - our Lenten emphasis in worship is just about done. (Be sure and join us next week as we lead in Come Back Soon - our Palm Sunday worship service).We opened yesterday with Come Ye Sinners.After our call to worship we sang Because of Your Love, The Same Love, O Love that Will Not Let Me Go, and Never Let Go.Our offering song was Oceans. I know, it's Thursday. My wife and I decided to pack the boys up on Sunday after church and take them to Disney for a couple days. We're Disney FREAKS. I'm convinced that Disney has the best customer service in the industry. We had our Children's Musical yesterday morning - "Coming Home." This was the 3rd musical that my wife has written, in as many years.If you were able to join us on Sunday - you saw the story of Papa, his wife Lovie, and his granddaughter Allie. We've been following these three through the course of all three of these musicals. Papa has an incredible way of telling stories, and tying in Biblical parables and principles.
