What a great privilege it is, not only to lead God's people in His worship, but to work with some of the finest musicians in the city…We opened yesterday with Awake My Soul - a tune I wrote quite a few years ago.After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, Our God Saves, Enough and Before the Throne of God Above. Our offering song was a killer rendition of Lincoln Brewster's Surrender, thanks to the mad guitar skills of Jack Swaim.As a song of response we sang Jesus I Come.It's never too late to join choir!  We're meeting on Wednesday…

What a great morning of worship yesterday, and topping off with communion.We opened yesterday with a repeat of the new tune White Flag by Passion.After our call to worship we sang All Because of Jesus, All Hail the Power of Jesus Name, Your Name, and How Deep the Father's Love for Us.Our offering song was Love is Here.

What an interesting morning yesterday!  We got to hear from Bob as he answered some questions from our congregation via text and twitter about his sabbatical. We opened yesterday with a new tune (to Oak Mountain) called White Flag.  You can find it on the latest Passion CD.After our call to worship we sang Prince of Peace, Joyful (Brenton Brown), Break Through, Center, and Be Thou my Vision.Our offering song was Amazed, with a great solo from Lauren Roberts.We celebrate communion next week.  Come ready to feast!

Bob Flayhart returned to the stage yesterday, after a three month sabbatical.  It's great to have him back.  Be sure and join us over the next few weeks as he unpacks what God showed him through his time away.We opened yesterday with Arise and Sing (B Brown).After our call to worship we sang Beautiful One, Blessed Be Your Name, Amazing Grace (Chains are Gone), and When All is Said and Done.Our offering song was a tune written and sung by Jenny Pruitt called Come to Me.

We wrapped up the Sabbatical preaching series yesterday - as Gordon Bals of Daymark Counseling finished a two-week run at Oak Mountain.We also had quite the crowd, as we welcome back our Sr Pastor - Bob Flayhart from his summer sabbatical.  He'll return to the pulpit next Sunday - August 26th.We opened yesterday with a song I wrote with Billy Ivey called I Will Sing.After our call to worship we sang Amazing God (Brenton Brown), Forever Reign (Hillsong United), Praise to the Lord the Almighty, 10,000 Reasons (Matt Redman), and Revelation Song.Our offering song was also a new tune (for oak mountain) called…
