Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – January 8, 2012

Greetings interwebs, and Happy New Year.We opened worship yesterday with Come Ye Sinners. After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, Our God Saves, Great is Thy Faithfulness, and When All is Said and Done.Our offering song was a Hillsong Grownups tune that I'm really digging called Stronger.For Communion we sang May Jesus Christ be Praised - an arrangement that came out of a hymn writing group that I was a part of years ago. Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – June 19, 2011

We had the choir leading in worship yesterday. Choir Sundays have been my favorite Sundays.We opened yesterday with Our God Saves.After our call to worship we sang Come Christians Join to Sing, Hosanna, Search Me (from Ronnie Freeman), Center, and Jesus Paid it All, with the Kristian Stanfill chorus. Our offering song was a Matt Redman tune that we used last Christmas called You Alone Can Rescue.

Happy Birthday to Drake

It's #1's 10th birthday today. I've posted his story a couple times here. I'm gonna post it again, because it serves, to this day, as a constant reminder of how God radically changed our hearts on what we knew to be true of his character.He was born at 6:01, on a Friday - June 15, 2001. Worship Order for Bridget Beasley's Memorial

I've had tons of requests for the worship order that we did the other night. For those of you that aren't at Oak Mountain, we lost a dear, dear sister, friend, mom to a long bout with cancer. She fought so well.
