1. Favorite reason to not do a Friday Favorites this week - I've spent all week up at my parents' lake house in Seneca, SC. Great time not doing anything - which is also why i don't have any friday favorites this week - except for this picture, which i took last year. This is mom and dad's buck-wild Airedale named Hannah. It was so good to be back with my church yesterday. I've missed them during some traveling, and it's good to be home. Patrick and the youth worship team did an excellent job leading for me last week as I was out of town. I so appreciate not only his heart for worship, but his heart for developing young musicians - not just into better musicians, but into better worshippers. Always enjoy having the choir lead in worship. Choir Sundays are some of my favorite Sundays. We opened yesterday with a GREAT tune called You Lifted Me Out. After our call to worship we sang Amazing God, Everlasting God, Praise to the Lord the Almighty, and Amazed. Our offering song was Faithful God. Happy mother's day to all the moms out there. I called mine yesterday morning and had a sweet conversation with her, remembering some childhood memories.
