Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – Oct 10, 2010

Communion service yesterday. Bob finishing the Gospel-Insertion point of the Gospel Pipeline series. Next week is Home Missions Sunday. We opened yesterday with a new song called I Will Sing. Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – Oct 3, 2010

Bob is still continuing his series on the Gospel Pipeline. I'm convinced that there are so many trying to live out the Christian life - striving to be good - missing the whole point of the gospel - the sanctifying grace just as key as the justifying grace. If you haven't been listening - or don't know what i'm talking about - get the whole series on iTunes. We opened yesterday with Hillsong's Hosanna. After our call to worship we sang Your Grace is Enough, Indescribable, Center, How Great Thou Art, and He Knows My Name. Our offering song was a new tune (to…

I used to work at the Alabama Theatre - while attending Samford. It was one of the 4 venues that I worked live production around town. Sound, rigging, lighting, etc . . . Anyway - Pat Metheny did a show at the Alabama one night. I had never heard of him - but working the load in/out that day - i had the option of coming and seeing the show for free. I ended up showing up for the last 45 minutes, and sat entranced with his music and musicianship . . . this guy's incredible - and here's a…
