Summers is drawing rapidly to a close.  In just 6 days we have our bullfrog choir, our youth ministry returns from their summer mission trips, band camps at local schools get fired up, and before we know it - school is back in session.  It's been a quick summer!Yesterday's worship set was all about the One who at His name, every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.  David Conrad preached yesterday - you need to go listen if you were unable to catch it live...We opened with our new tune - Soul on Fire.After…

Introduced a great new tune to OMPC this morning - Soul on Fire.  Love getting to serve with such talented vocalists and band members!We opened this morning with Soul on Fire - from Third Day and All Sons and Daughters.After our call to worship we sang Shelter, A Mighty Fortress, Your Grace Finds Me, and It is Well.Our offering song was Let it Be Jesus - wonderfully led by Alicia Baker.Fellas - join us in just two weeks for our 12th Annual Bullfrog Choir!  Brief run-through at 9:45 and then we lead in worship at the 10:45 service.

We had a one-service Sunday this past weekend, as many of our folks were out traveling for the holiday.  Still a great crowd for worship, and for a terrific message from one of our Associate Pastors - Ken Jones.We opened yesterday with I Am from Crowder.After our call to worship we sang Arise, All Hail the Power, Your Name and O Love That Will Not Let Me GoOur offering song was God of Justice.

We had quite the different feel and configuration for our worship service yesterday.  We dove right in with a prayer and praise litany, as Bob led our church through a prayer time, re-reflecting on his sermon points from last Sunday.  Always good to change it up - and so thankful for my great teams of musicians for their flexibility and talent!So, having said that - we broke dramatically from our normal liturgy of worship... but the songs we did included Jesus Only Jesus, Lord I Need You, Search Me, Lay it Down, And Can It Be (set to Clocks by Coldplay),…

First day of summer.... time is going by quite fast.  Before you know it we'll be talking about Kids Choir launching back, and Worship choir rehearsing Christmas music....Sunday's service was all geared towards Bob's sermon on revival... Sleeping Beauty Awake!We opened Sunday with Awake My Soul.After our call to worship we sang Filled With Your Glory, Hosanna, Hear Us From Heaven, and Holy Holy Holy.Our offering song was Awakening, from Passion.Join us this week for a very unusual type service for OMPC - full of liturgy, readings, and worship tunes.

Introduced a new song (to OMPC) yesterday - Crowder's I Am....I love the boldness in the statement "I am holding onto you..." - our part of the Waltz - we repent, believe, and then fight to hold on... but I love even more singing the words of the chorus as a reminder that Jesus is always holding onto us... always...  So, in the middle of the storm, be reminded that Christ is holding onto you....We opened yesterday with Here For You.After our call to worship we sang This is Amazing Grace, The Solid Rock, One Thing Remains, and Before the…
