Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – January 29, 2012

We wrapped up our Global missions conference this weekend - with messages from Gary Purdy of North Shore Fellowship. Had some GREAT times of worship - including, of course, yesterday morning's normal Sunday worship.Our choir lead worship yesterday. We opened with Forever Reign - which is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs.After our call to worship we sang Jesus Shall Reign, Amazing God, O 4 a 1000 Tongues, A Mighty Fortress (Nockels), Your Name, and Agnus Dei.Our offering song was a Sovereign Grace tune called Let Your Kingdom Come.

We kicked off our 2012 Global Missions Conference yesterday. Our conference this year is lasting a week as opposed to the normal 3 days.We opened yesterday with a new tune (to Oak Mountain) - Charlie Hall's Song of the Redeemed. I say it's new to Oak Mountain - but Patrick Bush has been using it for a couple years in the youth house. We celebrated Sanctity of Life Sunday yesterday - with a video testimony from Lisa Cleghorn. I'll post that up here later this week. We opened yesterday with Awake My Soul.After our call to worship we sang Because of Your Love, Search Me (Ronnie Freeman), Center, and Be Thou My Vision.Our offering song was intermingled with the video testimony - How He Loves by John Mark MacMillan.Next week kicks off our week-long missions conference.

Greetings interwebs, and Happy New Year.We opened worship yesterday with Come Ye Sinners. After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, Our God Saves, Great is Thy Faithfulness, and When All is Said and Done.Our offering song was a Hillsong Grownups tune that I'm really digging called Stronger.For Communion we sang May Jesus Christ be Praised - an arrangement that came out of a hymn writing group that I was a part of years ago.
