Yesterday was Time Change Sunday which always means a low crowd at the early service! We opened with Great Things After the call to worship we sang Glorious Day, Who You Say I Am, The Stand and Jesus Paid it All Our offering song was Broken Vessels.

We capped off our 2020 Global Missions Conference yesterday with a sermon from Bob on Faith Promise and our Faith Promise pledge offering. We opened with Our God Saves After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, All Hail the Pow'r, Stronger and Your Name Our offering song was a new tune (for OMPC) called His Mercy is More Our pledge offering song was an older tune from Hillsong called You Said

Yesterday started our two-Sunday World Missions Conference, which concludes next Sunday with our 2020 Faith Promise Pledge. We also have a choir Sunday yesterday - I love choir Sundays. Yesterday was one of our "not-so-typical" worship style Sundays - with the same type programming (songs) but with acoustic guitar, piano, fretless bass, fiddle, perc and just a couple vocalists. Yesterday was a communion Sunday and our Pastor of Outreach and Young Professionals preached, continuing our series in 2 Timothy. Thank goodness the SuperBowl is over, right? Also - remember when the half-time shows had musical talent? Yeah. Those were the days. Yesterday was our first choir Sunday of 2020! Choir Sundays are always my favorites - such an incredible group of worshippers. If you'd like to join us, there's never been a better time. We meet every Wednesday night in the choir room from 6-7. We provided drinks, snacks and childcare. We had a busy week at OMPC as all of our normal weekly activities kicked back off - including worship choir which meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7 in the choir room. We're starting right away with our Palm Sunday music, and there's never been a better time to join us! We have free childcare, drinks and snacks and there's NO requirement to be able to read music.
