Yesterday concluded our 2019 Global Missions Conference. Bob preached on Faith Promise - OMPC's giving mechanism to fund our missions effort. We opened yesterday with Relentless After the call to worship we sang Unstoppable God, O for a 1000 Tongues, We Will Feast and Great Are You Lord Our offering song was a new tune for OMPC called Who You Say I Am from Hillsong Our faith promise tune was Let Your Kingdom Come Join us next week for our Kids Musical "Not Just With Our Words" written by my wife Mandy Sears.

Yesterday was the start of our 29th annual Global Missions Conference at Oak Mountain.  We had a great morning as the choir led worship, we heard from missionary guests and our speaker - David Stoddard. We opened yesterday with Let Creation Sing After the call to worship we sang Jesus Shall Reign, Forever Reign, Jesus Only Jesus and No Other Name. Our offering song was All the Poor and Powerless

Yesterday was an acoustic Sunday at Oak Mountain - something we do from time to time with acoustic, piano, bass, fiddle and perc. We opened with Here For You After the call to worship we sang Heaven and Earth, Build My Life, O Come to the Altar and Fairest Lord Jesus Our offering song was a new tune for OMPC - Raise a Hallelujah by Bethel Our two communion tunes were He Will Hold Me Fast and How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds.

2 weeks into February and we're continuing to introduce new tunes for OMPC worship.  If you're reading this and attending OMPC for worship hopefully you're finding the new music to draw you into a closer understanding of the character of God, and His love for us through Christ. We opened yesterday's worship with Found in You After the call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, How He Loves, We Will Feast and What a Beautiful Name Our offering song was Mercy from Bethel.

Yesterday's worship set was focused on the name of Jesus, and the rescuing, restoring, pursuing nature of our God.  We also introduced a new tune (or a couple new tunes if you've missed worship) for OMPC We opened with Found in You - a new tune for us from Vertical Worship After the call to worship we sang Your Love Awakens Me, The Same Love, How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds and Build My Life Our offering song was Do It Again It's never too late to join us for choir!  We've started working on our Palm Sunday Worship service Is He Worthy? which…

Yesterday was a choir Sunday for OMPC, we hosted the Spain Park Baseball team AND prayed for and said goodbye to Tom Franklin and the Homewood Church plant as they leave to plant a church in Homewood. We opened yesterday with Your Love Defends Me After the call to worship we sang Amazing God, Good Good Father, Praise to the Lord the Almighty and Lord I Need You Our offering song was Holy Spirit - sung by Carlee Green. Jenny Pruitt filled in for me yesterday at OMPC - she always does a great job, and we're blessed to have such talented folks on our worship teams! They opened yesterday with Our God Saves After the call to worship they sang This is Amazing Grace, Come Thou Fount, Jesus Paid it All and In Christ Alone  

I was out yesterday and Jeff Sauceda led worship for us. They opened with Crowder's version of O for a 1000 Tongues After the call to worship they sang Amazing God, Unstoppable God, This I Believe (the Creed) and Reckless Love The offering song was Jesus Only Jesus

And just like that - 2018 is in the books!  I was out of town yesterday as my only remaining grandparent had passed (my Dad's mom) and I flew to Moline, IL to bury her. Jeff Sauceda led worship for us - and as always does a tremendous job! They sang Psalm 100, Awesome is the Lord Most High, O Come to the Altar and How Deep the Father's Love for Us. The offering song was Good Good Father  

Last Sunday was the 4th and final Sunday of Advent - the Angels' Candle, signifying peace and the annunciation of Christ's birth. We opened with Heaven and Earth After the call to worship we sang Lion and the Lamb, Forever Reign, Angels We Have Heard on High, Angels from the Realms of Glory and What a Beautiful Name Carlee Green sang Light of the World and our offering song was Peace sung by Jeff Sauceda.
