We kicked off our week-long World Missions Conference yesterday with the choir, and a great sermon from David Montgomery, visiting us from Northern Ireland.  Grab the sermon audio from iTunes if you missed it! We opened yesterday with Let Creation Sing  - a perfect tune for Missions, by Hillsong. After our call to worship we sang Jesus Shall Reign, Amazing God, Hear Us From Heaven, and No Other Name. It's always an exciting challenge leading worship with no voice - but nevertheless, we have a congregation that loves to sing!  So yesterday ended up being a great opportunity to just mouth some words and let the congregation fill in the rest! We "waltzed"through our worship set yesterday morning.  Bob's teaching on the Christian life is one of a three step dance - repent, believe, and fight.  As he setup to preach on "waltzing through the Word" I decided to craft our service waltzing through our worship set. Welcome back from Christmas and New Year's break!  We had an abbreviated schedule yesterday due to the ice/snow from Friday.  We'll be fully back into the swing of things this week - and Worship Choir launches back this Wednesday night with our normal rehearsal schedule (6-7 in the choir room).
