We had our US Missions Sunday yesterday - as OMPC got a chance to hear from Mountain Brook Community's Missions Pastor - Jimbo Tucker, as well as from some of our US Missions efforts.We opened yesterday with White Flag.After our call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, Jesus What a Friend for Sinners, God of This City, and No Other Name.Our offering song was Come As You Are.

Yesterday was one of our "not your typical OMPC worship style" Sundays, with fiddle, hollow bass, acoustic, and piano.  I always love switching it up every once in a while.We opened with Our God Saves.After our call to worship we sang I Am, Come Thou Fount, Blessed Be Your Name, and O Love That Will Not Let Me Go.Our offering song was Because He Lives.

Jenny Pruitt led worship for me this past Sunday while we were out of town. I don't know if I've shared before - but I love choir Sundays... So much for a Monday morning recap.  Some weeks it has to be Tuesday or Wednesday... at least this week it's still technically Monday!We opened yesterday with Let God Arise.  It's funny.  This tune has fallen off the CCLI top 100 list, but I love it.  Love the energy.  Love the theme of the song.After our call to worship we sang Joyful, Hosanna, We Will Run, and Immortal Invisible God Only Wise.Our offering song was a tune that I just love called Jesus I Come.

Labor Day Sunday!  Hope everyone had a great weekend.I'm in San Diego this week - leading worship for CareNet's annual national conference.  Such a privilege to be with these fine folks.We opened yesterday with Because of Your Love.After our call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, Come Ye Sinners, No Other Name (Hillsong), and Before the Throne of God Above.Our offering song was a new tune called This I Believe (The Creed) from Hillsong.
