I don't know if I've shared before - but I love choir Sundays... I get to work with some of the most talented musicians in the city - and choir is one of those opportunities for all of them to come together through laughter, community, fellowship, music and of course, worship.  It's glorious, and rehearsals are always my favorite hours of the week - outside of Sunday mornings.We opened yesterday with Here For You.After our call to worship we sang Everlasting God, One Thing Remains, 10000 Reasons, and How Great Thou Art.Our offering song was Greater from Passion - with a little bit…

This morning's worship set was all about surrender.   It started with singing about the one true foundation for our faith... we then sung about lifting hands and hearts in surrender, giving up our pride, and our rights.  Then onto a reminder to be still, and finally ending with a simple chorus about God being the only one we need...We opened with a hymn rewrite that I did another lifetime ago called The Church's One Foundation.After our call to worship we sang Lay Me Down, I Lift My Hands, How Firm a Foundation, and You Alone.Our offering song was a…

So much for a Monday morning recap.  Some weeks it has to be Tuesday or Wednesday... at least this week it's still technically Monday!We opened yesterday with Let God Arise.  It's funny.  This tune has fallen off the CCLI top 100 list, but I love it.  Love the energy.  Love the theme of the song.After our call to worship we sang Joyful, Hosanna, We Will Run, and Immortal Invisible God Only Wise.Our offering song was a tune that I just love called Jesus I Come.
