Summers is drawing rapidly to a close.  In just 6 days we have our bullfrog choir, our youth ministry returns from their summer mission trips, band camps at local schools get fired up, and before we know it - school is back in session.  It's been a quick summer!Yesterday's worship set was all about the One who at His name, every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.  David Conrad preached yesterday - you need to go listen if you were unable to catch it live...We opened with our new tune - Soul on Fire.After…

Introduced a great new tune to OMPC this morning - Soul on Fire.  Love getting to serve with such talented vocalists and band members!We opened this morning with Soul on Fire - from Third Day and All Sons and Daughters.After our call to worship we sang Shelter, A Mighty Fortress, Your Grace Finds Me, and It is Well.Our offering song was Let it Be Jesus - wonderfully led by Alicia Baker.Fellas - join us in just two weeks for our 12th Annual Bullfrog Choir!  Brief run-through at 9:45 and then we lead in worship at the 10:45 service.

We had a one-service Sunday this past weekend, as many of our folks were out traveling for the holiday.  Still a great crowd for worship, and for a terrific message from one of our Associate Pastors - Ken Jones.We opened yesterday with I Am from Crowder.After our call to worship we sang Arise, All Hail the Power, Your Name and O Love That Will Not Let Me GoOur offering song was God of Justice.

First day of summer.... time is going by quite fast.  Before you know it we'll be talking about Kids Choir launching back, and Worship choir rehearsing Christmas music....Sunday's service was all geared towards Bob's sermon on revival... It was great to be away, and great to be back with OMPC yesterday.  It's VBS week - which means we had our VBS decor on the stage - always interesting to lead worship with a jungle backdrop!We opened yesterday with White Flag.After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, Come Thou Fount, Oceans, and Be Thou My Vision.Our offering song was Love is War.

The choir led in worship yesterday.  I love choir Sundays.  Such a great way for so many people to be involved in leading in worship.Choir will be taking a break for a few weeks as we enter the summer months, and we'll resume in August.  We also have our 12th annual Bullfrog Choir on Sunday July 26th.We opened yesterday with Let Creation Sing.After our call to worship we sang God of Grace and Glory, Forever Reign, The Same Love and How Great Thou Art.Our offering song was Greater - from our Palm Sunday worship service.
