Labor Day weekend. We still had church. We opened with You Are Good. I added the bridge part - which proclaims "you are good, all the time, all the time, you are good." I thought it was a little edgier than normal, but apparently Bob thought it wasn't that edgy - and exhorted us with something even edgier from the psalms . . . which was cool. Yesterday was a full day at Oak Mountain. Choir Sundays. I LOVE choir Sundays. This morning we opened with Tehillah (which means to sing a new song). After our call to worship, we sang Hosanna, Immortal Invisible, Come Thou Fount, Hear Us From Heaven, and Revelation Song. Our offering song was I Will Rise - a newer Tomlin tune, which was fun to arrange for choir. The next two weeks in choir we're going to be previewing our Christmas music, and preparing to lead in worship on September 27. Come join us. Bring a friend.

It was great to be back at Oak Mountain this morning. I was on vacation last week, and will be gone this coming weekend as well. This morning, we opened with Indescribable. We had our June choir leading in worship this past weekend.
