My wife and I went to see Colin Hay Friday night at the Hoover Library Theatre. What a great blast from the past. Colin was the songwriter and front man for Men at Work. He sang for about 2 hours - easily one of the best concerts I've been to in a while. Vocals were spot on, band was incredible, and his song catalogue was great!

My middle boy [Jason Drew Sears] turned two today. This is his "I can't believe you'd make me go inside and dry off after drinking out of the sprinkler; life is so unfair" pose.

Come back to choir! We start the Wednesday, rehearsing for our Christmas program. It's a tad different this year. Hope you can make it - this Wednesday night: 6-7. Snacks, drinks, childcare. Worship.

We had a night of worship a few Sunday nights ago - August 5th, in which we spent about 1 hour, 15 minutes in a time of prayer and praise. On a whim, i decided to hit record on our multi-track recorders. The result was an incredible live recording of some of our favorite worship tunes at OMPC. We're going to be releasing this CD starting next Sunday, available for purchase at our welcome desk, or in the church office during the week. I'm going to post some clips from it this week.
