Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – October 11, 2015

Yesterday was one of our "not your typical OMPC worship style" Sundays, with fiddle, hollow bass, acoustic, and piano. I always love switching it up every once in a while.We opened with Our God Saves.After our call to worship we sang I Am, Come Thou Fount, Blessed Be Your Name, and O Love That Will Not Let Me Go.Our offering song was Because He Lives.

Jenny Pruitt led worship for me this past Sunday while we were out of town. This morning's worship set was all about surrender. It started with singing about the one true foundation for our faith... we then sung about lifting hands and hearts in surrender, giving up our pride, and our rights. So much for a Monday morning recap. Some weeks it has to be Tuesday or Wednesday... at least this week it's still technically Monday!We opened yesterday with Let God Arise. It's funny. This tune has fallen off the CCLI top 100 list, but I love it. Love the energy.
