Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – August 16, 2015

Kicked off our typical call season yesterday with our normal Sunday evening activities and a new sermon series from Bob called "Life in the Fast Lane."We opened our service with a new tune (to OMPC) called Lay Me Down.After our call to worship we sang I Am Free, O Worship the King, At the Cross, and Fairest Lord Jesus.Our offering song was Turn! Bullfrog Choir is THIS Sunday!

One of my favorite Sundays out of the entire year is this Sunday - our 12th Annual Bullfrog Choir!! The morning's worship set provides an opportunity for EVERY guy (and their sons) at OMPC to come and help lead in worship. The reason, though, that this particular Sunday is so important to me, is that it gives us husbands and dads and opportunity to model worshipping our Lord for our wives and kids. It gives us - the men of OMPC, an opportunity to actively demonstrate what the psalmist meant when he commanded shouting, clapping, and singing a new song.…

Love getting to serve with such talented vocalists and band members!We opened this morning with Soul on Fire - from Third Day and All Sons and Daughters.After our call to worship we sang Shelter, A Mighty Fortress, Your Grace Finds Me, and It is Well.Our offering song was Let it Be Jesus - wonderfully led by Alicia Baker.Fellas - join us in just two weeks for our 12th Annual Bullfrog Choir!
