We had a great morning of worship last Sunday as we welcomed back Bob from his mission trips!  And we're heading right into the advent season.We opened last Sunday with This is Amazing Grace.After our call to worship we sang Because of Your Love, The Stand, I Stand Amazed, and In Christ Alone.Our offering song was Let it Be Jesus.

Thanksgiving seems to be rapidly approaching, and before you know it, we'll be well into December, our Christmas worship service on the 14th, Christmas Eve, and then the new year.  My parents were right; time does go by much faster as you get older.We opened yesterday with This is Amazing Grace.After our call to worship we sang All Because of Jesus, Your Grace Finds Me, Great is Thy Faithfulness, and Enough.Our offering song was a tune I wrote called To Him.

Choir Sundays are always fun.  It's great to have a job where I get to serve and make music with such talented, energetic, and encouraging folks.  If you've ever thought about getting involved in choir - it's still not too late to join us for Christmas!  We rehearse every Wednesday night from 6-7 in the choir room.  Come join us!We opened yesterday with Never Stop Singing.After our call to worship we sang Amazing God, Lord I Need You, We Will Run, and How Deep the Father's Love For Us.Our offering song was Jesus Only Jesus.

Yesterday concluded our 2014 Stewardship Season at Oak Mountain.  It's a great time to be reminded of the need for surrender - not just with finances, but with our daily lives, and those things that are most dear to us....We opened with Awake My Soul.After our call to worship we sang Shelter, I Lift My Hands, Hungry, and Be Thou My Vision.Our offering song was This is Amazing Grace, and our pledge offering song was Waiting Here for You.

Hard to believe that we're over half-way through October already.Relentless - God's love is relentless.  The song we sang in the middle of our set repeats those words, over and over again.  Sure - it may be a "7/11 song" - singing the same 7 words, 11 times, but at least for me, I need to be reminded over and over again that God's love and pursuit after me is relentless even when I fail, time and time again.  So I have zero problem with us singing "Your love is relentless, your love is relentless, your love is relentless, your…
