Greetings interwebers.We opened yesterday with Arise and Sing - a new tune from Brenton Brown that we've been working into the sets.After our call to worship we sang Forever (quite the throwback), Search My Heart - the new tune from Hillsong United, Center, and Be Thou My Vision.Our offering song was I Lift My Hands.VBS this week.  Communion this coming Sunday!

Well of course it's on Tuesday - who was working yesterday?  And for that matter - who's checking BLOGS yesterday?We opened Sunday with Famous One.After our call to worship we sang Because of Your Love, Forever Reign, Immortal Invisible God Only Wise, Surrender, and Hear Us From Heaven.Our offering song was Jesus I Come. Join us this week as Gary Purdy, pastor of North Shore Fellowship in Chattanooga is our guest speaker.

The kids led in worship yesterday - always enjoy when the kids lead; we get to do things a tad bit different, and having my 6 year old singing on praise team with me was just way cool.We opened with a tune from Jana Alayra called Believin On.Our call to worship was a video which I'll post up here tomorrow.After our call to worship we sang Filled With Your Glory, Here I Am to Worship, Holy Holy Holy, and Revelation Song.Our offering song was off of a children's catechism album that a buddy of mine wrote; a song called One…

We started our summer worship schedule yesterday - hard to find a seat, but wow!  the energy in the room was amazing.We opened yesterday with Brenton Brown's Joyful.After our call to worship we sang  You Lifted Me Out, Arise, Come Ye Sinners, Breathe, and How Deep the Father's Love for Us.Our offering song was a new song from Hillsong United called Search My Heart.Communion coming up this week - and our kids are leading in worship!  Love it when the kids lead.

Our kids lead in worship yesterday with the presentation of Esther-Ordinary Faith - a terrific musical that presents the story of Esther in musical form.This coming Sunday we switch to our summer worship schedule with worship at 10:45, preceded by Sunday School at 9:30.

We opened yesterday with Arise and Sing - a new song of Brenton Brown's latest album.  Really enjoying the entire album - check it out if you haven't.After our call to worship we sang Awesome is the Lord Most High, Come Thou Fount, Grace Flows Down, and Holy is the Lord.We didn't have an offering song this week due to time constraints, but during communion, Alicia Baker sang Child of God, and Kala Waldron reprised Waiting Here for You, from our Palm Sunday worship service.

We had a great crowd at Oak Mountain yesterday.We opened yesterday morning with a song I introduced last week at our Palm Sunday worship service called Joyful by Brenton Brown.After our call to worship we sang Let God Arise, Not To Us, Christ the Lord is Risen Today, Stronger, and Agnus Dei.Our offering song was Not Guilty Anymore - great tune by Aaron Keyes.Last week - during Holy Week, we also had a 7AM Good Friday service - themed around the 7 last words of Christ.For that service (because I've been asked) we sang Here I am to Worship, How…

We finished up our Spring Break week with a one-service Sunday yesterday. I love the feel of the room with our congregation packed in - and the singing is just outstanding.We opened yesterday with All Who Are Thirsty.After our call to worship we sang Beautiful One, Blessed Be Your Name, It Is Well, You Alone, and In Christ Alone.Our offering song was Everything.This Sunday - Palm Sunday worship service - 9 and 10:45AM.
