Hello 4 people . . . Last Sunday we opened with Famous One by Chris Tomlin/Jesse Reeves.After our call to worship, we sang Amazing God, which I just love, by Brenton Brown. We followed that with Beautiful One, Search Me, and When I Survey/Wonderful Cross. If you're looking for a new song - check out Search Me by Ronnie Freeman. Great song writer. The tune may be hard to find, via a recording. I know it's on the JH Ranch Praise, disc 2.For our offering song, we introduced Center by Charlie Hall.

Easter Sunday Recap for Oak Mountain

We had a great Sunday at Oak Mountain. The thought that I've had preceding yesterday was this: What if we had the same fervor and zeal about Christ's resurrection the other 51 Sundays of the year! Facebook and Twitter were inundated with "Christ is risen!" messages, which are great - and He is - but He has been for close to 2000 years - our message shouldn't dramatically increase with Easter Sunday - it should be that exciting, that life-changing every Sunday, or thursday afternoon, or Tuesday at 9:15PM . . . We [Oak Mountain] were back from spring break this weekend. we opened our service with Awake My Soul, which is a tune I wrote set to a hymn text by Isaac Watts.After our call to worship, we sang Hosanna (Baloche), God of Grace and Glory, Break Through (T.
