Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – September 29, 2019

And just like that – September 2019 is in the books. We had a great morning of worship yesterday with our Worship Choir – i love choir Sundays. And if you’re wanting to join us – there’s never been a better time. We’ll pick up rehearsals on Wednesday October 16th from 6-7 in the choir room! Drinks, snacks and childcare are provided.

Yesterday was our “Fall Launch” Sunday as all of our normal ministry year activities get back into full swing. Scotty Smith – founding Pastor of Christ Community in Franklin, TN and the current Teacher in Residence at West End in Nashville was our guest speaker for a 30-year “thank you” sermon for OMPC as we celebrate our 30th anniversary this fall.

Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – August 11, 2019

Yesterday marked the “end of summer” at OMPC – at least as far as our summer schedule goes. Next week is our fall launch “kickoff,” starting with worship choir on Wednesday and then all of our normal evening activities starting next Sunday night. If you’re kids are eligible (age-wise) to be in Kids choir – i’d encourage you to sign them up! One of the healthiest and most effective brain developments one can do as a child is be exposed to music. Our kids choir program is the best – and open to all kids, 1st-6th grade. They meet on Sunday evenings at 4:30.

Yesterday was our 16th Annual Bullfrog choir – which also means that in two weeks – on August 15th, I’ll celebrate being at OMPC for 16 years. Time flies!

We had quite the stage full of guys yesterday – one of my favorite Sundays of the year.
