Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – January 15, 2017

We continued in our Blue Book series yesterday with the beginning of week 2, and sang about God's undying love for us, and our identity within that love. Monday Morning Recap for Sunday – January 8, 2017

Welcome back from Christmas and New Year's break!  We had an abbreviated schedule yesterday due to the ice/snow from Friday.  We'll be fully back into the swing of things this week - and Worship Choir launches back this Wednesday night with our normal rehearsal schedule (6-7 in the choir room). Yesterday was also the start of our journey through the Blue Book together as a church.  Bob will preach on the devotional in the Blue Book each Sunday, and then we as a church can go through that week's devotional during the following 6 days.  So today - we started "week…

Since both Christmas and New Year's Day fell on Sundays this year, we had a shorter, family service, with just me at the piano - to allow our volunteers time with their families.On Christmas Day we sang Joy to the World, Hark the Herald, What Child is This, Away in a Manger, and O Come Let Us Adore Him.For worship yesterday we sang Your Grace is Enough, Come Ye Sinners, and How Deep the Father's Love for Us.Our offering song was Good Good Father.

Yesterday was the 4th Sunday of Advent, the Angels' Sunday - where we celebrate the angels annunciation of the birth of Christ, the declaration of His kingdom, and of course, looking for His 2nd coming.We opened with Unstoppable God.After our call to worship we sang Forever Reign, Angels We Have Heard on High, Angels From the Realms of Glory, and O Come to the Altar.Our offering song was Here With Us, by Joy Williams, sung by Kala Waldron.  Our communion song was a great tune from Michael McDonald called Peace.Join us this coming Saturday night for our Christmas Eve services at…
